Fire Jockey Pump
Vertical multi-stage centrifugal jockey pump
Three-component-retaining jockey pumps, ideally suited for your fire-fighting applications.Boundary lines
Capacity: up to 436 gpm.
Maximum pressure: up to 341 psi.
Temperature: up to 70 °C.Areas of application
Commercial, municipal and residential high-rise buildings, large commercial properties and warehouses, offshore and remote facilities, airports and power plants.OVERVIEW
A fire-extinguishing system normally uses two pumps: a robust main fire pump, which supplies large volumes of water to the fire main system, and a small, low-flow, high-pressure pump, which maintains pressure in the fire system during non-fire conditions and prevents unnecessary cycling of the main fire pump. Jockey pumps are normally sized at 1–3 times the flow rate and operate at a pressure 10 to 20 PSI higher than that of the main fire pump.
Ruhrpumpen's vertical multistage pump (VSE-type) offers a technically advanced design to meet the hydraulic demand of any fire-fighting installation. It is available with a stainless steel impeller as well as a robust cast iron base and pump stands.PROPERTIES
