UP Series
Chemically resistant centrifugal pump in stainless steel, of close-coupled design, with single mechanical seal
The UP series is the counterpart to the U series for applications where the use of a plastic pump is not possible, for example, due to increased temperature requirements up to 150 °C. It is equipped with a single-acting shaft seal (mechanical seal), which is lubricated and cooled by the process fluid. Sliding surfaces and elastomers are available in various materials; the spring is made of Hastelloy® C4.
Solids with a particle size of up to 3 mm and a concentration of 10 per cent by volume (vol.%) can be pumped. The viscosity can be up to 150 mPas; depending on the version, the maximum fluid temperature is 150 °C. All sizes are also available in ATEX-certified versions under the designation UP-EX for use in ATEX Zones 1 and 2.• Robust and durable design made from thick-walled, solid stainless steel components
• Compact block design
• Nem installation
• Suitable for high temperaturesChemically resistant centrifugal pump in stainless steel, of close-coupled design, with single mechanical seal
Features
• Robust and durable construction made from thick-walled, solid stainless steel components.
• Also suitable for liquids with a low solids content thanks to the spring-loaded shaft seal.
• Low-maintenance operation due to high-quality, smooth surfaces.
• All wetted parts are made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti).
• Supplied as standard with threaded connections in accordance with ISO 228-1; from size 130, it is also available with flange connections as an option.
Versatile, compact and quiet.
Approved for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).
Corrosion-resistant coating in RAL 1017, saffron yellow. [1, 2]Applications
Pumping of saltwater, weak acids and bases, or other corrosive liquids. Pumping of water- or oil-based emulsions at temperatures up to 150 °C. Use in harsh environments and in applications that require a particularly robust pump. [1]
For example in the following applications:
• Pumping of coolants and thermal oils in cooling or temperature control units
Galvanising and surface treatment
• Wastewater and freshwater treatment
Paper industry
Laboratory and pharmaceutical technology
Environmental technology, flue gas cleaning and gas scrubbers [1] -
UP-DO Series
Stainless steel centrifugal pump, chemical resistant, single-stage, block design, with single or double acting shaft seal
The UP-DO series is the counterpart to the U series for applications where the use of a plastic pump is not possible, for example, due to increased temperature requirements of up to 150 °C. Under this designation, it is equipped with a double-acting shaft seal (mechanical seal). Sealing faces and elastomers are available in various materials; the spring is made of Hastelloy® C4.
Solids up to a particle size of 3 mm and 10% by volume can be pumped together with the liquid. Viscosity can be up to 150 mPas; depending on the version, the maximum liquid temperature is 150°C. All sizes are also available in ATEX-certified versions under the designation UP-EX for use in ATEX zones 1 and 2.• Dry-run safe when using a pressurised sealing support system (flushing system)
• No leakage of toxic or environmentally hazardous liquids
• Suitable for high temperatures
• Complies with the German Air Pollution Control Ordinance TA LuftStainless steel centrifugal pump, chemical resistant, single-stage, block design, with single or double acting shaft seal
Features
• Robust cabinet parts with a large wall thickness.
• Particularly suitable for liquids with a solid content thanks to the spring-loaded shaft seal.
Pumping of magnetic particles is possible.
• Low-maintenance operation due to high-quality, smooth surfaces.
• All media-contacting parts are manufactured from high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4571 (AISI 316 Ti).
Threaded connections in accordance with ISO 228-1 as standard. Also available with flanged connections as an option (from size 130).
• Universally applicable, quiet and compact block design.
Approved for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).
• Corrosion-resistant motor surface (lacquering).Applications
Pumping of saltwater, weak acids, bases or other corrosive liquids at temperatures up to 150 °C. For use in demanding applications and harsh environments where a robust pump is required. For example in the following applications:
• Circulation of cooling fluids and thermal oils in cooling or heating units
Galvanising and surface treatment
• Wastewater and freshwater treatment
Laboratory equipment and medical technology
• Environmental technology, emissions control and gas scrubbers
