Press release

Momenta is continuing its investment in the energy and industrial markets with an acquisition in Norway and a new establishment in Denmark.

Momenta is the market leader in chemical injection, pumps, and instrumentation, delivering solutions to customers in oil & gas, industrial & marine, process industries and renewables. The company is now expanding through the acquisition of a majority stake in Ellingsen Indutech AS, while simultaneously establishing a subsidiary, Momenta ApS, in Denmark.

The acquisition and new establishment give Momenta Gruppen a broader range of goods and services and a stronger platform for further growth. For customers, this should lead to a better overall price, higher availability of goods, and increased delivery reliability and quality of deliveries. – This is a clear strategic move that strengthens the group for further growth. By combining acquisitions with establishing a presence in Denmark, we are building increased presence and execution power in the Nordics – and are even better equipped to deliver across the markets we serve., says Morten Ree, CEO of Momenta AS.

Ellingsen Indutech AS is changing its name to Indutech AS and will become a subsidiary of Momenta AS. The company will continue to operate with the same strategy and with existing employees.
– Customers should experience continuity – business as usual – while we gain the power to deliver more. The companies will continue with the same employees and strategy, but with cross-company synergies that provide better flexibility, increased quality, and the opportunity to take on larger projects., Sir Rees.

Establishing Momenta ApS in Esbjerg
Momenta is also establishing Momenta ApS, a newly formed subsidiary of Momenta AS, with offices in Esbjerg. The company will focus on projects in several markets and develop sales of instrumentation products and pump systems.

This means expansion into the market
The expansion should contribute to:
• Increased range and availability of goods
• stronger supplier capacity and better flexibility
• ensure increased quality in deliveries
• increased competitiveness and clearer supplier role
• opportunity to take on larger contracts and develop focus in new markets
